Fran Saidel: Author

Fran is an accountant by schooling but got out of that years ago. (Except for doing the books and taxes for her business.) She trains and competes with her dogs in Obedience, Rally and Agility. Fran teaches Rally to beginners at her local Obedience club and thinks the Rally Master class is huge fun. Fran came up with the idea of the Training and Competition Logs when she couldn’t find anything out there that she wanted to use herself. Fran has also created Journals and used her own images for the covers.

Fran and her sister Hope are co-founders of 2-Minute-Trainer and have created the Training Logs. Fran is an author on her own, too.

Tango: Transforming My Hellhound available at Amazon.com

Tango: Transforming My Hellhound tells Tango’s story. He’ll be 11 years old this month (April, 2020) and Fran felt it was finally time to tell his tale. Tango started out as an 11-month-old snarling, snapping, lunging bundle of fur when Fran got him. She thought he was the next great 12-inch Agility dog, but, clearly she had work to do. Fran describes those very rough first few months and even years of focused training on Tango’s reactivity. Fran trained Tango for performance sports as well, and they did go on to compete in Agility and Rally, reaching the Master level in each. This book details the trials and tribulation, the joys and sadness. Exhilaration and disappointments. Tango is retired from competition now, but still demands training time at home!
